Miri International Jazz Festival- Al Fresco Preview

Preview of Miri International Jazz Festival @ Al-Fresco at 7th May!


The preview started at 9.00 pm, with Bombay Raja, brass band from UK started the show.



See the crowd! There were more standing at the back.



The band was so high till they jumped down from the stage and performed. They invited the audiences to dance with them, but again, the crowd remain still.....

The DJ reviewed to me that Borneo people was still very shy in expressing themselves in the crowd.

The last 2 days when they were having preview at KL, they received massive responce till the crowd shouting for having ehco.


This is the 2nd band, Dites 34 from France.

Their music was so nice! Compare to the 1st one, this band music is more romantic and jazz feel, whereby the first one is more to the brass band feel.

The highlight of the night will be the saxophone player! He is so good in it!


Next, there is 2 performers from Australia (dressed in red and white) joined them for performance. The trumpet player in red was good!

The show ended at about 10 pm after the Dites 34 played the last song.
