Delicious @KL

It was my first visit to Delicious @ mid valley, KL.

There have several outlets in other places too. They are famous for their ranges of spaghetti.

The interior design is nice. It was crowded with people.

The 'tree' in side the restaurant, with cages hanging on the top.

There are wide ranges of spaghetti to be chosen. We dont know how to choose as there is no picture shown in the menu. So we ordered a spicy seafood spaghetti as recommended by the waiter. The spaghetti portion is big enough.
While we are expecting some sauce come along with the spaghetti, it turned out that the spaghetti has no sauce at all, yet it still taste so good! The spaghetti become the star itself, rather than the sauce. It is not too spicy, served together with fresh prawn and squit, and the texture of the spaghetti (which they claimed self made) is so smooth and delicate! It is like the western type of fried mee, every bite has its spectacular taste! So no more hassle of wishing more spaghetti sauce from the cook!
Next we ordered mashed potato, and Again! It turned out to be something out of expectation.

Forget about what you having in KFC. The mashed potato come in a big portion is solid state, and the gravy is put aside inside a small jar. The mashed potato just looked like a pineapple from far!

We poured the gravy into the mashed potato, and Bravo! The taste of the potato is so rich!. Indeed, you can actually bite the potato within it which the cook purposely cut the potatos into very small pieces. It might be too rich for one person portion, so recommeded sharing it with 2-3 people.
We wish we could order more food but it was already late at night, so we have to make our next visit to it to taste out other menu.
Overall, it is a very pleasant dining experience.

Seafood in KK

Sabah is famous for thier seafoods.

I have visited Gayang Seafood Restaurant to try for the seafood.

The view from the resturant! Magnificent! Very kampung laut feel..

Our first soup, consist of variety of seafoods! It is certainly different from those shark fin soup you having in the restaurant.

Chicken. Notice the colour of the chicken, which is yellow in colour? It is the kampung style chicken which the chicken 'exercise' a lot.

Fresh prawn. Forget about fry it with butter or chilly. Here, everything eat it fresh, and dip it with special sauce prepared.

See how fresh it is!

Luo, again, served it fresh!

Fish with special type of sauce.

The highlight of the day! Lobster! Love it so much that it is easier to eat compare to prawn, and the texture taste so much better! The sauce is right to not cover the original taste of the lobster.

And when talking about seafood, you should not forget about crab!
At here, soft crab meat is served instead of the hard shell one. It was deep fried till very crispy and you do not have the troublefree to eat it compare to the hard shell one! Just bite it and enjoy the crispy taste!

Finally some local vegetables.
And dessert! This is the coconut pudding! The pudding in green is inside the coconut.

THis is how the pudding look like. Very refreshing!

I am not a big seafood lover but the seafood in KK is definitely fresher than the other places!
I will definitely back to KK again for more seafoods!

Pulau Manukan Sabah

Sabah is famous for its seafood and beautiful island.

It is really convenient to reach the island in Sabah. Just took a speedboat at jetty and you will reach an island in 10-15 minutes!

The one that I am going is Manukan Island cos it is nearer to KK town.

In order to take a boat to the island, you need to go the the Jesselton Point to buy the ticket.

There were like over 10 counters there selling the boat tickets, so you dont need to worry the tickets will be sold off. But the people can be very frustrating to attract you attention to go over their counters like what happened in Pudu Station.

THe boat depart every hour so you can choose your time according to you needs. The return ticket cost about RM13-20, depending on the package you choose and how many island that you want to go.

After about 10 minutes boat ride, here I am!

Look at the colour of the water, you can tell that it is beautiful clean island!

You can have various water activities there like snorkeling, swimming and some beach games. If you looking for excitement, you can go to banana boat and parachuting. But the charges here is much more expensive. So we just mainly stay at the island to relax and took pictures.

As the weather getting hotter, we decided to leave early at 2 pm as there was ntg much that can be done there. But neverthess it is worth a visit.

McValue Lunch

Having McDonald Set Meal from RM 5.95??

Yes! Now you can enjoy your Mcd Meal at this price from Monday to Sunday (include public holidays! can you imagine this?) from 12pm to 3 pm.

How worth is it?

It is worth till people are willing to queue before 12 pm for the McValue meal.

And you think only students have the leisure time to eat at McD at lunch hours?

See those in working attire adults?

They were also so addicted and attracted to McD! Till they are willing to walk out from the office in the hot sun to drive to the shopping mall for it!

More and more people coming after 12 pm! This was totally understandable as we only have one McD in Miri.

After waiting for about 15 minutes, I got my McValue meal!
I ordered 1 set of McValue Big Mac set @ 7.90 + and 1 set of Mcvalue Mc Chiken set @ 5.90+.

And many people who havent come for this offer will often doubt that their burgers or french fries will shrink in size according to the value they pay for the meals.

That is totally NOT TRUE!!

See, my Big Mac! Still not easy to hold with one hand as usual!

So as my Mc Chicken!

I bought this Doremon @RM 3. That is their gift for the Happy Meal Set.
It was so cute!

I will revisit McD again soon for this great offer.

Dumpling ,more and more dumpling!

The dumpling season will be on next Thursday, and the Chinese Association held a meaningful event today (24/5) to promote this culture.

At the event, you can see dumpling.

Dumpling..
And more dumpling, of different shapes and flavours.

What more amazing was that there was a dumpling testing section whereby the dumplings were free for testing!!

See, they cut the dumplings into pieces so that everyone will have the chance to taste different types of dumpling.

Another tables of dumplings for testing. There were about 6-8 tables.

And when talking about free food, everyone of course get excited!

The dumplings were finishing fast!

Just look at the crowd at the Dewan Suarah!

And even our foreign friend was interested in dumpling!
He was trying to wrap a dumpling with guides from the organiser. Look at his confusing face, suppose it was not a easy task huh?

And there was also one dumpling wrapping competition too! and you think women rule the kitchen?
You will be surprised that the competition only allow male to take part in it. And still receive massive responce.
One of the male participant focusing on wrapping.

These were all the dumplings made by them!!
